Razco Foods has been at the heart of Kenya’s food industry for over seven decades.

From humble beginnings, we’ve grown into one of the country’s leading food manufacturers blending heritage with innovation to deliver products that suit the evolving tastes of modern consumers.

Razco Foods operates from an 11-acre site along Baba Dogo Road in Ruaraka, Nairobi, with over 100,000 sq. ft. dedicated to manufacturing, storage, and office space and 8 acres set aside for future expansion.

Our beloved brands Lyons Maid, Lyons, Ooh!, and Presto have become trusted staples across Kenyan homes, restaurants, schools, and businesses.

Our Legacy

Founded on 4th January 1957 as Clarkham Produce Limited, the company was renamed J. Lyons & Company Limited on 10th June 1978. In December 1987, following the acquisition of shares by Mohamedraza H. Jagani, the company became Razco Limited a privately held family business that continues to thrive under the ownership of the Jagani family.

Our national reach is supported by a fleet of 50+ refrigerated trucks, enabling direct distribution to retail stores, convenience outlets, and HORECA partners — without intermediaries. We also operate a fully equipped branch in Mombasa, with plans underway to launch a distribution center in Kisumu, extending our footprint across Western Kenya.

Currently, Razco employs 65 full-time staff and works with a trusted outsourcing partner who supplies 434 workers monthly, ensuring seamless operations and sustained growth.

We manufacture and distribute a wide portfolio of products, including:

Ice creams (tubs, sticks, cones, and bars)
Soft serve and fruit yogurt
Sauces, condiments, and dressings
Biscuit cones, frozen pastries, and cocoa spreads

We produce private label products like ketchup, mayonnaise, and sauces for major foodservice clients such as KFC, Simbisa Brands (Chicken Inn|Pizza Inn|Galitos|Creamy Inn,Bakers Inn), Artcaffe, and Big Square.
